Our Story

Twenties is a Black female-owned jewelry brand built on a simple yet powerful idea: look good, do good. But behind that idea is a deeper mission.

It all started after reading an article that exposed the harsh realities women face worldwide, shocking statistics about illiteracy, gender-based violence, and the lack of women in leadership roles. At first, I thought I’d donate to a nonprofit and keep it moving. But the more I reflected, the more I realized this issue was bigger than me. One donation wouldn’t be enough. The real challenge was finding a way for more people to contribute to real change.

That’s why I created TWENTIES. A brand that merges style with purpose. Every order donates $1 to nonprofits supporting women globally, funding education, economic opportunities, and safety for women in need. Through our partnerships with organizations like the Malala Fund and Women for Women International, we help support initiatives that advance girls’ education, women’s rights, and gender equality worldwide.

Beyond giving back, TWENTIES is about legacy. Every design is named after a trailblazing woman, the original "it-girls" who shattered barriers and shaped history. From Rosa Parks to Ruth Bader Ginsburg to Malala Yousafzai, these are the names we should never forget. Their stories deserve to be told, honored, and carried forward.
